Founded in 1969, Laboratorios CINFA is a Spanish-owned pharmaceutical company that develops, manufactures, and markets medicinal products and medical products. Laboratorios CINFA has a strong presence in Spain and operates a subsidiary in Portugal. The company
exports to 32 countries in Europe, Latin American, Africa and Asia.
Its portofolio of over 700 products is divided into two business units: OTC
and generics. Laboratorios Cinfa achieved the lead in the Spanish
generics market in under ten years.
CINFA assures product quality using stringent controls at every stage of the manufacturing process – pharmaceutical design and development, selection and monitoring of input materials, production, and delivery to clients. CINFA, as a technologically innovative business, invests 8,3% of revenues in research and development.
CINFA, based in Huarte, Spain, is now in the process of building 47,700 square metres of new facilities. The new plant will open in 2008 to manufacture the company’s forthcoming products.
